Wild thyme confit
The wild thyme confit from Domaine de Leos is delicious !
An organic, artisanal confit made from wild thyme harvested in bloom by hand on the estate's plateau.
Certified "Haute Valeur Environnementale 3A", the farm uses no chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Excellent for your health, it's ideal with fresh (goat's and sheep's) or semi-dried cheeses, on leg of lamb, guinea fowl, chicken or shoulder of lamb, or at the end of cooking to deglaze meat or enhance a ratatouille. It can also be spread on pancakes or toast. Diluted in hot water, it can be used as an infusion.
Les conseils de la maison
323 g jar
Ingredients: water, white cane sugar, concentrated lemon juice, fruit pectin, thyme (0.7%). Prepared with 0.7g of thyme per 100 g of confit. Total sugar content after cooking: 63g per 100g. Under the supervision of the Domaine de Leos teams, the confit is produced and bottled in Robion, just a few minutes from the farm, by La Roumanière (a social economy company).
Storage: To preserve all their properties before opening, we advise you to store them in a dry place, away from heat and UV rays. After opening, confit can generally be kept for 2 to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
