Veuve Clicquot la Grande Dame By Yayoi KUSAMA
The Grande Dame designed by By Yayoi KUSAMA is an exclusive blend of the 8 historic Grands Crus of the Veuve Cliquot House: Ay, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy, Verzenay for the Pinot Noir (53%) and Avize, Oger, Le Mesnilsur-Oger for the Chardonnay (47%).
La Grande Dame has a bright golden color. The initial nose reveals a strong, airy and delicate attack. Once opened, the wine presents notes of dried fruits (almonds, figs, apricots), ripe white fruits (pears) and finally, subtle toasted notes of hazelnut and praline.
These pastry notes create a perfect balance with the freshness and precision of the blend. In the mouth, the attack is strong and clean.
The Grande Dame has a silky texture and young fruit, carried by citrus and red fruit notes (cherry). The Pinot Noir, the signature Veuve Clicquot style, is extraordinarily distinctive with its freshness, minerality and power. The Grande Dame is a perfect balance of complexity, structure and power."
Les conseils de la maison
"These characteristics combine to create an elegant balance of freshness and structure, enhanced by a perfect dosage (6 g/l) that resonates with the potential of this cuvée. This cuvée, without a doubt, announces an extraordinary ageing potential. To be served between 8° and 10° in slightly wide glasses that let the bouquet express itself. "
