"A French whisky that honors the land and the raw material by distilling its own crops in the low mountains. The Single Rye is a double wood-fired distillation, made from a blend of different plots of land of the Domaine, cultivated in organic farming. A full and racy tasting. A whisky with character: with a cereal flavor and boldness, it is produced with respect for traditional know-how and for our environment. Tasting notes : COLOR: Pale - copper highlights NOSE: initially fresh, airy, minty, the nose becomes salty (black olive) then sweeter (stone fruit, candied orange). PALATE : the frank and woody attack gives way to an unctuous body (gingerbread, grape) which becomes denser and reveals an astonishing minerality. FINISH : long and full-bodied. The spices are powerful and complex (Vietnamese black pepper, colombo) and accompany a nourishing sensation. The empty glass reminds us of its origins: rye and the mountains (gentian, caraway)."
