Nocturne Rosé Taittinger
Taittinger Nocturne rosé is a “Dry” champagne composed of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier from 30 different vintages, born in the smooth trail of the Nocturne cuvée.
12 to 15% of still red wine, from the best Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims and Riceys, are added to the final blend and give the vintage its color as well as its vibrant intensity on the palate.
Its dosage (17.5 g/l) associated with the maturity of slow aging in the cellar, gives this wine a beautiful patina. A bead of fine foam and its pink color, lively and generous, promises a mouthfeel with silky tannins. Structured, it finds its balance in the freshness brought by the Chardonnay.
The attack on the palate is frank and generous, while remaining very fresh. On the palate the tannins are present but very silky.
It’s a champagne at the beginning and end of the evening. It can accompany a gourmet dessert as well as a chic snack break.
