Clos Saint Landelin organic Riesling 2015

"Serge DUBS, a great specialist of Alsatian wines, introduces us to the excellent Riesling of the Muré domain. We enjoy a very nice dry Riesling, well structured, with a full, wide and juicy structure. The texture of the mouth is enhanced by the presence of the finest acidity provided by this Riesling grape variety from one of the noblest terroirs in Alsace, the Grand Cru Vorbourg. It offers this subtle touch of minerality which is the characteristic of great terroir wines. An intense robe, beautiful concentration of straw yellow color, light green reflections (pistachio or lime leaves in spring), a beautiful brilliance and brightness, a tight and regular hammering. Its bouquet delivers itself with a beautiful spontaneity, open, dense, complex, harmonious, melted with a pleasant touch of vivacity, aromatic, all in fineness of fruits (blackberry, pear, apple, quince, mirabelle), honey, brioche, daisy, with an excellent touch of smoky minerality, cigar wrapper of blond tobacco and spicy. On the palate, it is a beautiful dry terroir wine, racy, generous, with an authentic character. The Riesling grape variety is in perfect harmony with a predominantly limestone terroir which gives it strength, substance and generosity, with a long, taut and tasty finish."
