Chicken cooker 100 % sandstone
"An unusual object from the 19th century, little known, revisited by M. W.T. and redesigned by the designer Guillaume Bardet (author of the project ""L'Usage des jours""). A kind of spit that allows to cook poultry in the oven, vertically, with a simple cooking method: you just have to sit the animal on the spit and to place the vegetables in the bottom of the chicken cooker. The spike being hollow, the heat rises, the cooking is uniform and the flesh becomes soft. On the outside, the skin is permanently watered by the juice that flows; It is crispy and the vegetables are preserved in the juice... The chicken cooker combines all the qualities: beauty of the object, efficiency and ease of use... A must havel."
Les conseils de la maison
"Material : Stoneware partly enamelled, made in Burgundy Dimensions : 17,5 cm height - 28 cm diameter Color: Raw stoneware and black enamel Characteristics : Each piece is unique because all are shaped and glazed by hand. A high temperature firing (1250°) gives it waterproofness, solidity and inalterability of the enamel. Stoneware has an incomparable capacity to store and then dispense heat, avoiding the harmful burning of fat. Maintenance: Dishwasher safe, but can be easily washed by hand with a sponge. Soak to remove stubborn residue. Suitable for standard ovens. Do not use cold water when the dish is hot or place it on a cold plate when you take it out of the oven because stoneware is sensitive to thermal shocks."
