Blade length: 8.5 cm

Stainless steel: Stainless steel is an alloy steel. It is obtained by adding chromium, which significantly increases its resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel does not require any particular maintenance.

Handle : The olive tree is the mythical tree of the Mediterranean. The olive wood is pleasant to the touch and has a beautiful polish. With a golden yellow to orange appearance, it has an often dense and sinuous grain.

Safety ring : Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is used on all closing knives from N°06 on. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc is made up of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (safety in transport).
