Saint Emilion grand cru- Dame de Trottevieille

Dame de TrotteVieille (previously “Vieille Dame de TrotteVieille”), AOC Saint Emilion Grand Cru, 2nd wine of Château TrotteVieille 1er Grand Cru Classé, was born in the early 2000s. Coming mainly from the young vines of Château TrotteVieille (12ha of vines in total), this second wine benefits from all the attention paid to the Grand Vin.

It is characterized by its generous fruit combining the sweetness of Merlot and the structure of Cabernet Franc, while retaining the minerality of its terroir.

Tasting: Red-purple color with purple highlights. Pleasant nose with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry. On the palate, Dame de TrotteVieille 2017 is well balanced, with ripe and firm tannins. Nice length.

Pairings: Will go perfectly with meats such as tournedos, rabbit, pheasant or mature cheeses.
